Medicinal marijuana

Well, what else are you going to do when you're argument is all shot to hell.

Enjoy your birds.

Go back to Post 1. Abusing the system. Marijuana or Vicodin. Does it matter?

Just because I refuser to waste my time with you any longer does not validate your "logic". The birds just happen to be more sensible.

Talk about sensible. You're worried about scrip abuse with pot when pain killers and other scrips have much more potential for that as they are far more addictive.

You just ran out of excuses for complaining about other people's treatment for their illnesses. You could cut all the crap and admit it's just a hang up or look at birds.

I bet you can figure it out when you put down your medicinal marijuana.

Marijuana is proven to help certain issues, nasea, etc. If it's medical, it should be prescribed, and those bad scrips, they should go after the Dr.s writing the scrips, and take away there medical licenses. You don't write a scrip for vicodine for a headache.

though I say it should be legal like booze, same rules, same penalties for driving under the influence.

You want to rephrase that? Hard to tell what you're saying as it is.

You seem to have been saying something about scrip abuse. Which I'm against.

There's scrip abuse with many drugs. You want to ban every drug for everyone if there's any instances of scrip abuse? That would not be a good plan. Scrip abuse is an entirely different issue.

So what was your point?

Oh, fer chrissake.

We had scrip abuse.

Then they went & declared marijuana legal, by prescription which reults in more scrip abuse.

Good plan.

So if we declared pain killers illegal there would be less scrip abuse.

What's your point? To get rid of the abuse we outlaw any drug that gets scrip abuse?

Think.

I should point out that California state law allows medicinal marijuana, but federal law does now and federal trumps state in this case. Clinton was quick to remind California of that when the proposition passed in 1996.

How do you do a DUI roadside check for pot?

So far, you don't..there's no blow test for pot use - but you can hit them for dangerous driving in the same way as you would someone who's asleep or nearly asleep at the wheel.

Here's the twist in the issue - people have sidelined into scrip abuse, but off hand, I'd say that those who want to get pot won't bother going to a doctor's office to get a scrip, so they can spend more money on regulated pot when they can just walk down to a local bar and buy a dime-bag.

The scrip abuse is for prescription drugs that you can't get off your local pusher.

The script allows you to not get busted by the local PD.

Those who get it without a doctors note will be treated as criminals. Those who get it with a doctors note for common maladies like stress need to learn what stress really is & get treated like criminals.

It's a backdoor way to legalizing pot. If they want to make it legal, do so. Just stop with the :bs:
