Probably a launch. ICBM launch sites are usually found in clusters similar to that.

impacting near the Kwajalein Atoll
California and Kwajalein are far apart huh?
Awe that's what that image evokes!
It is beautiful and sinister at the same time.
Something that makes one shiver in fear
with the realization that each of those beautiful arcs could have ended in 300 kiloton thermo-nuclear explosion.
Eight cities and tens if not hundreds of millions of people reduced to ashes.
Also it is an excellent engineering feat the accuracy of the weapon system is insane.

I've always thought it would be really, really cool to buy a missile silo and convert it into my house.
