Oh wow you can actually use a longsword? Maybe someday i'll have the strength. I just learned that i can use the heavy crossbow then run like hell, fire again and run like hell some more, hey this works pretty good! I can actually take on 6 or 7 guys this way. Maybe i'm gonna be a badass after all?!
I'm a Level I Bard whatever the hell that is. Normally i'd be a Wizard but to extend the replay value i decided to try something else first.
 
Ah, I'm a Paladin with Wizard capabilities...level 9 Paladin, level 2 Wizard...working on the latter :D
Good combination IMO :)
 
is this crappy game online at all or is it online in the sense diablo was? i have had but been too lazy to try it. and if it basicaly a single player game like it sounds i doubt i care to try it,
 
Running the solo game as anything other than a fighter type is tantamount to suicide since you have only one hapless lackey to help out.

It has full web support just like diablo. Ive yet to try it out... so I cant say how it works.
 
Ok whoreable, i was going to rebuke you in the guess the movie thread but i'm glad i didn't because i was wrong. However i will rebuke you here. There are two types of games, single player and multiplayer and some games even do both. Each one has its own splender. Just because a game doesn't go online doesn't mean it sucks. DoomIII will not be a multiplayer type game, Quake III was, but they are two totally different games. People must learn to make this distinction.
 
soundbalster live value. Finally managed to d/l the whole 29meg driver. Im going to fire up the game again here in a minute to see if it helped.

I wasnt expecting to have too many problems because the base specs for the game are chickenfeed... but theres always something.
 
I was reading something about SBlive issues with NWN uner xp and win2k but it says the newest drivers should fix the problem. If you haven't fixed it by the time i get back i'll see if i can help you find an alternate fix.

Ive got sound!... and its scaring the hell outta me. I grew used to the bliss of quiet. Now spellcasting positively makes the hair stand up on my neck.

yera i agree. but i don't really want to play t if it isn't multiplayer. i meant crappy beacuse it sounds like diablo. and that is crappy either way you look at it.
 
No wonder i was doing so poorly. I didn't take along my sidekick and i went to one of the more difficult areas first. Now that i've got a little experience and a sidekick i'm in the prison district and woop'in some convict ass. Anyone know what this message means though? "CANNOT CAST SPELL DUE TO ARCANE SPELL FAILURE". I get that while attempting to summon creatures now for some reason.

Look at your armor and shield components. The heavier/more metallic they are, the higher the spell fizzle rates. You should probably be dressing up in leather armors or bracers and only use small wooden shields. Im a lvl 10 warrior now and havent a care for all of it. Bury me in steel.
