So I'm looking at plane tickets... if I fly out of San Luis Obispo (half an hour away instead of 4 hours) on Thursday the 29th and stay in Georgia until the 5th, the cheapest fare I can find is $466 and I'd land in Atlanta at 1:11 Friday morning... or for $511 I could arrive in Atlanta at 9:20 p.m. Both options have the return flight leaving ATL at 5:25 p.m. If I head back home on the 3rd, for $446 I'd land at ATL at 1:11 a.m. and leave at 5:25 p.m. on the 3rd, or for $491 I'd land at ATL at 9:20 and have the same return flight.

Egads... if I come back on the 5th, the cheapest flight to and from LAX is $528... and I'd need to find a place to park the car because it's not easy to get someone to give me a ride to LAX and back. But if I came back on the 3rd, I'd be paying $377 from LAX. But then, the Park and Fly thing at the Hacienda Hotel was a bit over $100 last year, so that would eat up the savings.

Of course, depending on house and car capacity, I have other things to look into... Avis wants $162.99 to rent me a Chevy Aveo from the 29th until the 5th, Alamo wants $157.90 for the same thing... Budget wants $154 for a Kia Rio... of course, taxes add like $67 to the total, too... fun times.

So what I need to know is this... what's the room situation looking like, and would it be worth the extra $55 to have the flight show up almost four hours earlier? Or, should I say, so that people don't have to stay up until 1?
 
Oh, also, one thing ot think about... we'd all have the same IP for ogame when we're there. Is there a way we'd be able to let the admin there know so that we don't check out accounts and get banned?
 
For the IP, if we were to just let the admin know that it would happen over XX dates, it shouldn't bother, although, that is what vacation mode is for too.

As for the airport, hell Inky, I'll come getcha myself.

Are you serious? Are you THAt addicted? YEESHBAH!

btw, I'd go Rio over Aveo...the Rio is a nice car to sit in (never drove it) and the Aveo is funny looking. Plus the Rio is cheaper so there's no reason not to go with it :D

i think there is a way to notify them. might be on the rules page.
 
OK, flight's booked.

I'll be flying out of San Luis Obispo (30 minutes away instead of 4 hours like LAX) on "Mesa Airlines DBA America West Express" at 12:26 p.m. and arriving in Phoenix at 2:08 p.m., then leaving Phoenix at 2:45 p.m. on America West flight 614 and arriving in Atlanta at 9:20 p.m.

I'll be staying for the fourth, so get the fireworks ready.

I leave at 5:25 p.m. from Atlanta on America West flight 656 and arrive in Phoenix at 6:25 p.m., then leave Phoenix at 7:10 p.m. and arrive in San Luis Obispo at 8:45 p.m.

Hope you guys appreciate me coming. I spent an extra $45 so that I wouldn't have to arrive in ATL at 1 in the morning and wouldn't have to leave at 8 a.m. the day after the fourth.

Its still the 4th if you've been drinking heavy and stayed up all night.

Its not the next day until you puke all over yourself and forget your own name.
 
So now that travel arrangements are done, we need to figure out how I'm getting from the airport to Marietta, where I'm staying at, etc.
 
Can you still get mopeds? I see scooters everywhere, but mopeds have been off the market for 20+ years.
