OTC BBQ 7/1-2/06

I only mention it because I've been trying to get a moped for some time. They're harder to find than a virgin at coed summer camp.

Yeah, shipping from BC won't triple the price at all.

There's lots of problems bringing vehicles into Quebec from other provinces. Most people moving to quebec find it's easier to just sell their cars at home and buy a replacement one here.

None of their "mopeds" are true mopeds at all. They all have pegs instead of pedals. Pedals are the most important feature of a mo-ped. What they're selling is jsut scooters without the fairing.

Hmmm, what about shipping from Boston? I can check and see if we have our old moped. Might require some, errrrr, lots of work to get up and running, but if you're willing to put in the time...

I'd love the challenge, wood, but it would jsut be added to the list of other things I've got. (restore the trailer, the pickup, etc).

On the other hand ... I'm gonna be passing not too far from Boston with a trailer in a couple of weeks .....

Gaaaahh. Bad. Badbadbadbadbad.

Me and a tool or motor. It's like crack-laced rum and jolt to an addict.

(rum and Jolt cola; when you really want to punish your body for even responding to that 300 lbs's chick offer for a quicky)

Well, if you want me to check and see if it is there, I will. There is a chance my dad gave it the old heeve ho or donated it or something but I will check and see...

Thanks anyways, but I'm making an effort to avoid cities. The trailer really isn't designed for traffic.

*sigh* I'm weak. I just looked anyways. We're nowhere near boston anyhow. We'll probably be dropping straight down the 87. the closest we'd get would be Albany. At about 3am.

I'll get ya, Inky. That's 9:20 on Friday, right? PM me the flight details, and I'll meet you at the baggage carousel for your flight.

I'll PM them once I get home and have access to that e-mail again. I've still got your cell number in case of problems.

It's 9:20 on Thursday, though.

I'm sure I could've found my way up to Marietta somehow... HL might have been a bit surprised when I knocked on his door at about midnight though. :D

Y'know what? Go for it.

without input from the GA group, and with the internet at your fingertips, plan how to get from one to the other, without using a taxi. See how close you can get. Remember to check when the bus service stops.

Car rental places are open 24 hours at the airport, I've got several credit cards to choose from, and I remember vaguely how to get there. I could grab a map to find the right highway combination to take, and assuming that Dish Network dish is still on the fence at the road you turn off at to get to HL's, I can find it.

Near as I can get is the 148, to Powers Ferry after the Marta to Sandy Springs. Did I miss anything?
