The cream of the crop from our camping group this weekend are looking into going to Alora (Elora?) Gorge (near Guelph Ontario) for the July 1st weekend to go camping again, I'm excited and won't be AS broken hearted about not being able to make it to Georgia if I atleast get to go camping :)
 
Tonight, I shop for iron on twill. I have to find it in at least 4" widths, and as long as they have it. I've found the widths, but only in knee-sized patches. Got a couple of seams in the canvas that need reinforced. Then I get the pleasure of running new propane lines. No more nervewracking than doing your own brakes for the first time.
 
Tonight, I do nothing. Nothing at all. I've spent the last umpteen million bits of free time getting the backyard prepped for the summer and a fort built.

Then I've had houseguests as the grammas came down for V2.0's birthday celebrations at school and his preschool graduation (which was this morning - fun!).

Well, it's done. I'm gonna sit on my ass and drink bourbon for an evening.

Unless something changes very quickly, better mark us off the list. Banks have determined to screw me as hard as possible, and I refuse to go down without a fight. Some things you just don't do...and I've been asked to do them all lately.

We desperately wanted to attend this year, and there is a glimmer of hope still alive, but the practical side of me says it just ain't too likely.

I've got a big ass lake up here that we could all venture out on too. And I'll provide boats too. And afterwards, we've our choice of high class dinner and dancing at Montreal's famous old port, or the lapdances of the St-Catherine's street strip clubs. Or both.
