I most definitely do. The question, tho, isn't wether it's rude. It's just how much this new law can be stretched. We're already seeing kindergarden children getting charged for kissing. What new frontiers will this new law open up?

Tonks, the new law doesn't apply to them anyways. There are laws that they've already been charged under. Maybe add a line or two to strengthen them, but this is nuts.

I could say that I didn't say any such thing, but my point is that these "children" damn well knew what they were doing was wrong, and all the laws in the world wouldn't have changed a damn thing. Sterner concequences might have.

In any personal case, however, vigilante justice is far more acceptable (to me) than sending these Darwinian failures to "sensitivity class" and wasting hundred of thousands of dollars holding their hands for the next 50 years. Frankly, I'm appalled that we're at this stage at all. In a functioning society, these punks families would have taken then out the the town square and leathered them until they damn well knew right from wrong. A year's indentured servitude to the victim and her family wouldn't go far wrong either.

I'm fascinated to see Wink, Gonz & Prof all agreeing on this one.
