Frankly, I couldn't care less either way. I tried to help him quit before, and all I got for my troubles was whining. Pretty much what I got here too. He won't quit. He doesn't want to. He just wants people to tell him how great he is for trying. And how it's not his fault when he gives up yet again. If he really wanted to quit, he would have posted "I quit", not "I'm quitting". You see? He's left himself the out. He's said "I'm still a smoker, but I want to change", instead of "I'm now a non-smoker".

how many shit stories have been posted here about failed love life, neighbours fucking somebody's wife, people quitting smoking - quitting for 2 months, starting again and bumping the same thread 5 months later when to make another pathetic attempt?
