Random crap thread

It appears there's a bug in the spoiler code... good thing I tested it before I posted the spoiler about what the video's about.

It ain't cute if you have to try to talk to that person
once they've reached adulthood in a business setting,
it is down right annoying!

Why would anyone think it is 'cute' that someone
born here wouldn't be able to speak English
and don't even try to say that is a language or a dialect!

If sounding southern makes you sound STUPID
that kid is going too sound down right off planet!

My kid has taught his first Princeton review classes
and he's going mad over the fact that juniors in high school
can't read even at the level he superseded in 3rd grade,
and these are the best and brightest of a public magnet school, we are all doomed!

He talks like a kid. If he talks that way as an adult it wouldn't be cute. But he is a kid so it is cute.

If he is better than the rest but still speaks and writes like you, then yes, we are all doomed.

Shut up.

Among 18- to 24-year-old Americans given maps:

87 percent cannot find Iraq

83 percent cannot find Afghanistan

76 percent cannot find Saudi Arabia

70 percent cannot find New Jersey

49 percent cannot find New York

11 percent cannot find the United States

• nearly 30 percent of those surveyed could not find the Pacific Ocean, the world’s largest body of water;
• more than half—56 percent—were unable to locate India, home to 17 percent of people on Earth; and
• only 19 percent could name four countries that officially acknowledge having nuclear weapons.

Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hail at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad strips & bright stars, through the perilous fight,<----
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

39% can't make it past the arrow when singing it.

And there are still people who think that our schools should be more highly rated than they are. I think the world gives us too much credit. Realistically i doubt that we even make the top 50.

And yet this is still the number one nation in the world.

Oh and don't werry louie kids that bearly made it outta
H.S. here will live a higher standard of livin' than you will
in yer second werld cuntry

That might be intentional. :D

As for the Star-Spangled Banner... I've heard it sung before many high school sports events in my line of work, and twice I've heard it sung like this:

Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hail at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad strips & bright stars, through the perilous fight,
What so proudly we hail at the twilight's last gleaming?

I'd be interested to know what percentage of people know that there isn't just the one verse to that song.

Gee, who's attending all those colleges in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina Louisiana and what do they sound like? The must ALL come from the midwest, west and north and have "no discernable accent".

And Wink, about your kid...

No one CARES. He's probably as idiotic as you.

I may have a slight southern accent but believe me I am the first person to correct my children english. Don't be such an asshole, Winky.
