I'm gonna go turn on CNN and post as the verdict as soon as it's announced!
 
I'd like to know how they did that, since they had to scrap a weeks deliberations, and start over just this morning.
 
Guilty of 1st degree murder of his wife Lacey Peterson
Guilty of 2nd degree murder of his unborn son Conner Peterson

Well, the other foreperson may have been the one holding them up...there was obviously something not fair about that person for them to be let go...something was amiss
 
Sounds like the juror they ditched, apart from not being able to follow simple fucking instructions, was an impediment. I bet they threw a party when she got tossed.
 
from all I read and saw, guilty. But the shows I watched kinda were bent that way anyway.

Still, there was no other logical conclusion, ya know?

logical? i find nothing logical with killing your wife and unborn child...for any reason. did they give an apparent reason? did i hear something of an affair?
 
Doesn't eveyone have lethal injection now? My state offers you a choice, lethal injection or the gallows. One bastard got so fat in prison that he tried to stay his execution by choosing hanging and then saying it would be cruel and unusual because he was so heavy he'd decapitate. I believe they snuffed that bastard. Personally I don't really believe in the death penalty but if anyone earned it Scott Pederson has to top the list.

The verdict hadn't been delivered as of then :D
 
I might have found him guilty, but it wouldn't have been easy.
Why?
I do think he probably did do it, or knows who did, but just as in O.J.'s
case, I see no really hard evidence, and it's just hard for me to say
"Guilty" on just circumstantial evidence. :confused:

If I had been convinced to vote Guilty, I'd Really have a hard time giving the
Death sentence on this one. I couldn't sleep at night if they found out
down the road for some reason that he didn't do it, and he'd already been
put to death. :alienhuh:
 
From what little I saw, because I never followed the case, I'd have said he did it but there's was insufficient evidence presenteted. I did not spend 5+ months in the jury box. What do I know, I'd have convicted the Menendez Bros & OJ.
 
I think he got the verdict he deserved. But, because of the uncertainty caused by the lac of hard evidence I wouldn't give the death penalty.
 
first degree ensures a death sentence and second degree he would get 15 to life. since he got both, i suspect its gonna be the death penelty. but as usual we the people will support his sorry ass in jail for years before they off this sick bastard...
