Winky isn't the only one who has been attacked by Bobby Hogg. If he could stay away from the profanity, he would probably get away with some of the minor stuff. Unfortunately, he has a problem with hitting enter with emotion running higher than thought...

Nope. When I insult someone, you can believe that it's with forethought and malice. The only time it isn't an insult is when a smilie is involved. There are those who would take what I say as a personal attack, but that's because they either don't like what I'm saying, or they don't like how their argument is being ridiculed.

Flav, its my playground. there are very little rules here Its no different than where you work. you may not like the rules but if you want to continue to work there you go by their rules.
I have recieved numerous post reported for the personal attacks and im tired of it.
He has been warned mnore than enough times to cool it but he refuses to just like a kid trying to test his parents on how much they can get away with.
So i have drawn the line, if he decides to cross it that is up to him but there is a consequence for it.
nobody is forcing him to call another a bigot, or to fuck off. that was on his own. If he cant control his emotions enough to talk civil then i dont need or want him here.

Why aren't you focused on Winky, who started breaking the rules first. In this thread as well as the one I was warned in it seems like the person who actually started the personal attacks is not getting warned.

OK flav, ill make it simple for you, It no one elses business as to what or who ive talked to. This is not a democracy. if you dont like it leave, its up to you. I get the feeling you invited BH here because you felt the need to get something stirred up. Or that you felt like the only far out lib and needed backup. i may be wrong.
But i think BH is a big boy and can handle himself if he is concearned enough to care. or maybe he just came to start something. i dont know.

Samuel, I wasn't invited here by flavio. I merely searched on the worldwide internet for a new forum to post at (because I was growing tired of the two I already frequent) and this was one of several I picked out.

I only remain because the quality of debate is so good. Perhaps I have to learn to put up with the odd savage who would inevitably be banned at my other haunts for their outrageous comments.

I'm not a "far out lib" either. I refuse to succumb to your easy labels. I approach every question with my own personal opinion, not a mindset definied by political allegiances.

I didn't come here to start things. I post as I am. I still don't see the problem with referring to someone who used homophobic slurs as a bigot, rather I think you have your own agenda you are looking after. Like I said, ban me if you want, I no more want to hang around here if I have to see bigotry condoned.
 
No. Sam did not.

And noone is condoning anything, on either side of the coin. We're happy for the most part to let people speak freely here. Up to the point of attacking the others personally. Then it will stop. Or we will stop it.
