WASHINGTON – An elderly man enters a crowded museum carrying a rifle and begins shooting. A young man in Arkansas pulls the trigger outside a military recruiting office. Another man opens fire in a Kansas church.

Three chilling, unconnected slayings in less than two weeks. One gunman was a white supremacist, one a militant Muslim, one a fervent foe of abortion.

Each suspect had a history that suggested trouble. Each apparently was driven to act by beliefs considered by some as extreme. Each shooter fits the description of a "lone wolf" terrorist, a killer whose attack, authorities say, is harder to head off than if planned by a trained terrorist network.

The cable news talking heads were all on about the white Jew killer & how it's being fed by conservative radio. What caused the black liberals to kill? For that matter, the white Jew hater has more in common with the left than the right, so he must be a pissed off liberal white guy. Liberal? Let's see. White supremacist, believes Obama's not a US citizen, said Obama was created by Jews, supported a republican candidate, believed Sarah Palin was unfairly hounded by the media, attended meetings and raised funds for the right wing British National Party, and met regularly with a former Reagan aid.

As a side note, if Farrakhan is a Muslim, how can he believe in an Antichrist? Then again, one does not expect sense, common or otherwise, from professional bigots of any stripe.)

In 1995, a black Pentecostal Church, the United House of Prayer, which owned a retail property on 125th Street, asked Fred Harari, a Jewish tenant who operated Freddie's Fashion Mart, to evict his longtime subtenant, a black-owned record store called The Record Shack. Sharpton led a protest in Harlem against the planned eviction of The Record Shack.[46][47][48] Sharpton told the protesters, "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business."[49]

On December 8, 1995, Roland J. Smith Jr., one of the protesters, entered Harari's store with a gun and flammable liquid, shot several customers and set the store on fire. The gunman fatally shot himself, and seven store employees died of smoke inhalation.[50][51] Fire Department officials discovered that the store's sprinkler had been shut down, in violation of the local fire code.[52] Sharpton claimed that the perpetrator was an open critic of himself and his nonviolent tactics. Sharpton later expressed regret for making the racial remark, "white interloper," and denied responsibility for inflaming or provoking the violence.[13][53]

So if all white supremacists are apparently right-wing, then all right-wingers must be white supremacists. Is that the gist here? Or maybe you're trying to bring up some unsavory members of the group, who are there whether the rest of the group wants that or not, as a way to paint the group as a whole in a bad light. I'm sure it wouldn't take all that long to find some unsavory members of the left.
 
Let me clear it all up for you. It's not about Conservative vs Liberal..or Right vs left wing.

It's about religion - moderates vs extremists. The octogenarian gunman, the muslim shooter and the anti-abortionist...one thing in common. Their religious fervor.

Almost typed fever... but that would've been too accurate.

nah, you see, there are gradations of assaholia. for instance, rush limbaugh and his dittohead dipshits have a lot of sympathies with the radical right, but they're not exactly the same.

rush at least finds ways to rationalize his anti-immigrant sentiments as motivated by something ther than what they are, whereas the far right fringies are at least honest (and dumb) enough to wear their hate on their sleeves.
