The Budget

I thought it was 99% of the population that was a buncha mouth breathing Wal-Mart shoppers
 
I bet even less than 3/4 of the cashiers even could.
It seems if it doesn't show change on the cash register display many are dumbfounded.
 
well, they're not supposed to be able to count. they are supposed to be absolutely dependent on the machine. if they could do anything on their own, they' have more career options, and be more difficult to replace/discard.
 
lol, you got that right.
I was in a store (won'r mention the name but wasn't wally world)
and the register locked up. The bag guy, and old man (a Shriner I think)
told the woman what the change was supposed to be, but she said she had to wait
for the manager to come with a key. The old man just rolled his eyes.
