seems like mosta that stuff should be passed down to the state level. imagine that... now if we could just keep the bullshit moral agendas out of it so that certain parts of the country don't fall under american taliban and concentrate on the economic shit... nah... too many unwanted kids need to be saved!

There is no good reason why they couldn't balance the budget tomorrow morning.

The effect would be immediately positive.

Also they could cut taxes at the same time
the effect of this would be even more pronounced.

but no these things are not in their best interests
they are in ours and the government doesn't have our best
interests at heart.
