yeah I think the Islamic presence there is only like lower 20%ages.

I have seen people knee jerking about them being Islamic.
They don't know much about Egypt apparently.

I believe many people there looked at Mubarak's relations with the Muslims grudgingly.

the vast majority of egyptians are muslim. look it up.

I did.
I don't think there are very accurate numbers.
Religion in Egypt controls many aspects of social life and is endorsed by law. The 2006 census counting method did not include religion, so the number of adherents of the different religions are usually rough estimates made by religious and non-governmental agencies.
Then they go on to spout percentages...

That may have been more true some years ago,
But what I've been seeing from the younger generation on social media sites
is something very different.

So, the fact is, a matter.

Give it time.

anyway, what makes you think the trajectory will go the same as it did in iran? because they's muslims? think there might be some differences between the two situations? where's ayatollah assahole-ah?

now that I won't really try to dispute, except I think it's more like 85-80,
then probably 90 on the gen before that.
Seems it's been dropping, and with the networking, fast.
I think that's part of the reason they cut the communications.

BTW, I'm not an expert on Egypt, but I am on people, and communication.

As I said Mr. Wizard, I'm hoping for the best. I hear people wanting a something good, it doesn't mean they will be able to get it. Achieving freedom takes whole lot more than burning cars and chanting.

With the the power vacuum I don't expect a group willing blow themselves up for an Islamic world is going to sit idle on on the sidelines and let such a large (islamic) nation develop on of their own accord.

I don't know how it's going to turn out in the long run. -- Stay tuned.
