who the fuck cares?

your hero bush was an A #1 cokie and boozehound. it was long behind him when he ran for president. funny to joke about, but so what?

There was a book written that was so roundly and soundly discredited that the PUBLISHER pulled it from circulation. That is the one and only time that the accusation has been hoisted.

You are an intelligent guy so I want you to consider this:

  • Do you really believe that if GW had done coke in the past that there wouldn't be even ONE opportunist waiting out there to give him up for a book deal and speaking tour?
  • Do you believe that his coke magically appeared? That there was no money grubbing, coked up, greedy drug dealer who wouldn't give him up for the money that would surely be involved? We are talking MILLIONS here.
  • Do you believe that if he had been doing coke that he did it completely by himself, in a dark room, and never said anything to anyone about it? Druggies love company. Do you believe he was the one-in-a-million loner druggie?

There is no way that he could have done drugs and gotten away with it because someone, even his closest and most trusted confidant, would give him up in a NY minute for the money and notariety in what would have been, at that time, one of the most important stories of the century.

Who's "they" and when did "they" say that?

http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/new...log/2008/03/a_black_governor_in_new_york.html

But somehow Paterson's ascension isn't right. It is not as exciting as watching Barack Obama run for the presidency. I wish he had been elected to be governor rather than being named this way. Another clean-up guy turns out to be dirty. Of course, he has not been convicted. But in this case the accusation is reason to give up the office, drag out the wife and apologize for the sins.

A black man will be governor of New York. Who thought about that when they voted for Spitzer?
I'm sure it comes as a surprise, especially for black folks who live outside of New York, that Paterson was second in command.

Does it make you wonder how many of these invisible blacks sit next to the seat of power in the U.S.?

Invisible blacks sitting next to the seat of power?

What are you trying to say exactly?

You're asking the wrong guy. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel said that.

You asked a question and I answered. They are the "they".

um, he more or less acknowledged it without naming specifics. certainly that was a calculated move to cut off the potential events you name, above. if he could have gotten away with letting it go unacknowledged, that certainly would have been the preference.

That is unabashed prevarication! He NEVER acknowleged, more or less or otherwise, that he ever used drugs. That is moonbat speculation; and I know you are smarter than to spread this crap.

Those who would profit from such events, acknowleged or not, would be coming out of the woodwork. Can you imagine the Enquirer and Sun headlines?

"Best friend says "I snorted coke with GW Bush!""

"GW has a nose like a vacuum cleaner according to drug buddy!"
(Sorry to Roger Clinton for borrowing that line).

"Bush gives new meaning to "high office"!"

You're saying the Sun-Sentinel never thought a blind black man would be governor? That doesn't even make any sense.

What is your point?

Drank like a fish, fucked like a bunny & created havoc everywhere I could.

Drugs were very minimul (losers do drugs) & I've never cheated on my wife. (for that matter, I never cheated on a girlfriend-
if the urge for outside 'tang was so overwhelming, I knew it was time for a break up anyway)

When I run for President (or Governor) you can dig this thread up.

As far as SO WHAT goes....if they don't come clean about thier past & allow the voter sufficient information to make an INFORMED judgement about who our leaders-then they ought to be tried & jailed for perjury.

Have you told all your employers the full details of your past?

From your own link:

TERENCE SMITH: There is no evidence that Bush has ever dabbled in drugs, but the Republican front-runner has directly addressed other personal issues. He has acknowledged years of drinking and said that he gave up alcohol at age 40. He has also volunteered that he has been faithful to his wife, Laura, during their 22 years of marriage.

...

ROWLAND EVANS, CNN: The big question for Governor George W. Bush of Texas: Governor, there are and have been rumors, lots of them, of your possible past use of hard drugs. Sir, is it not now in your interest to tell us flatly if these rumors are or are not true?

GEORGE W. BUSH: You know, really, I -- when I first got going in this campaign, I started hearing about these ridiculous rumors. I made my mind up at that point in time not to chase every single rumor that had been floated about me. The game of trying to force me to prove a negative and to chase down unsubstantiated, ugly rumors has got to end. And so therefore, I'm going to end it.

So he says he is simply not going to respond any further to these ridiculous rumors and because he fails to prove the negative you take that as a definite positive.

If he had said "Yes" you would shout a resounding "Ah ha!"; but if he had said "No" you would scream "The bastard's lying!". There is no winning against those whose minds are made up. The best course is to not feed the dragons; and that is what he chose to do.

Do you truly believe that there would be not one single person ANYWHERE who would not be willing to give him up for the money and notariety? How many people have been betrayed by friends for the money, revenge, or notariety?

Someone sent those nude pics of Vanessa Hudgens to the press.

A “best friend” sold the vids of Pam and Tommy Lee to the porn vendors.

It was ex-boyfriends who exposed the nudes of Vanessa Williams, Vanna White, and, more recently, Audrina Patridge.

The lead story in Us Magazine "Lauren Conrad: How Audrina and Brody Betrayed Me" and last August in People Magazine "Lauren Conrad: I Don't Even Know Heidi Anymore".

So don’t give me this crap that he is guilty of something he refuses to speak about because he wants to end the idiocy. I suppose you believe that everyone who refuses to testify in a court case is automatically guilty also.

Have you told all your employers the full details of your past?

I can't recall a question like "how many bimbos did you skag in the 80's" ever popping up. I'd have answered or chosen not to answer. I am pro choice.

we all heard how he answered the questions. and we all, well, except you, understood what he meant.

You understood what you wanted to understand based on your preconceived desire, based solely upon your visceral hatred of the guy, that he be guilty.

He merely did to that reporter what Bubba should have done to the student on MTV who asked the "boxers or briefs" question.

not just me dude, everyone but you heard the question, the tone, and the carefully hedged answer.

i don't have "visceral hatred" of dubya, but thanks for that. i suppose i should call you a "liar and prevaricator" for that, but, fortunately, i'm not such a blowhard. i think he's made some very poor decisions (though many were fed to him by dick et al) and i don't believe someone with his basic intelligence level and cartoonish view of the world has any business in that office. he's actually a good guy on a personal level.

in any case, as i said many posts ago, big fucking deal if he snooted a little powder. you ever try coke, jim? i bet you'd be a real hoot all coked up.:mope:

I made the statement. You questioned the statement. I showed you an example. End of story.

Nope, you still haven't clarified what you meant or what the point was.

Apparently your saying the Sun Sentinel never thought a blind black man would ever be governor.

Yet you also said "Now they are stuck with a blind, Black, philandering druggie governor."

The Sun Sentinel is a Florida publication so "they" are not stuck with him as governor.

You also say "blind" and "black" as if they are insults. What's up with that?

Yep.

Yet you also said "Now they are stuck with a blind, Black, philandering druggie governor."

The press made a big deal of his being Black and blind. I merely added philandering (by his own admission) and druggie (by his own admission) to the list.

The Sun Sentinel is a Florida publication so "they" are not stuck with him as governor.

I meant New York and you know it.

I wasn't the one playing up those facts. The mainstream media and "diversity" sites all over the world were.

Nope, still doesn't make a lick of sense?

The press made a big deal of his being Black and blind. I merely added philandering (by his own admission) and druggie (by his own admission) to the list.

The press has not made black or blind a negative thing yet you said "Now they are stuck with a blind, Black, philandering druggie governor."
as if black and blind were a bad thing.

Don't try to squirm out of this.

I meant New York and you know it.

If you meant New York why would you use a Florida publication as an example of someone "stuck" with a blind black governor. Your making even less sense now.

I wasn't the one playing up those facts. The mainstream media and "diversity" sites all over the world were.

I quoted your words Jim. You were the one making a deal out of it.

"Now they are stuck with a blind, Black, philandering druggie governor."

Your words. You used them as an insult.

You are such a joke on this board, Spike. :laugh5:

I can always tell when you're in a corner. You start the trolling and insults.

Grow up Jim.
