Maybe if you try harder you can understand the difference between blaming someone else (which nobody here does) & having a grasp on the founding of our nation & limitations placed upon it by a constitution. Somewhere along the way, people with your attitude stood aside & gave way for over-regualtion, overbearing interference & a runaway budget.

If you don't want to stop what's happening, stand aside & let those willing to do the heavy lifting get busy.

obviously the Ds are not going to reign in spending, ever. but not sure i see the Rs effectively doing so either. neither side has a particularly good record when it comes to home state pork and/or charitable donations to pet industries and contractors. or in the sense of not pouring billions, er, trillion into stupid projects that pursue imaginary foes, are poorly managed, allowed to languish, and result in a prize of nothing more than the dead flesh of thousands of US service persons. er, no, iraq got us the arab spring. you loving that shit er what?
