Well, I certainly wouldn't tell YOU that 59F is sweatshirt weather... but I wouldn't tell Tonks to look out for the red beans and rice we had at the BBQ because they're spicy, either.

I stepped out at 9:45pm and was SHOCKED. I had gotten home at 8pm and my car was still cool cause there was no sun but outside it was still disgusting.

Oh look, it must be August
Today
Mostly sunny...hot and humid. Near record highs in the mid 90s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Heat index readings 102 to 108 in the afternoon.
Statement as of 11:17 AM EDT on August 01, 2006

... Heat advisory remains in effect until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/
Wednesday...

There will be little relief from the heat tonight as temperatures
will only fall into the mid and upper 70s for a couple of hours
toward daybreak. Heat indices this afternoon and Wednesday
afternoon will peak in the 103 to 109 degree range.

The daytime heat combined with humid conditions at night will
create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. People in
the advisory area should avoid prolonged work outdoors...
especially in the sun. Also... keep plenty of liquids on hand and
try to spend as much time as possible in an air conditioned
environment. Children... the elderly and people with chronic
ailments are usually the first to suffer from the heat. Heat
exhaustion... cramps... or in extreme cases heat stroke can result
from prolonged exposure to the hot and humid conditions.
Friends... relatives... or neighbors should check on people who may
be at risk.

It's kinda hot today here. 91 degrees literal, heat index 102 (39 C), humidity is 60%.
A bit too spicy to be on the deck.

I am now. :(

It's been a sucky summer.

'nother few months it could be -32 though, so I guess this is better. A little. Maybe.

Supposed to get to 95 before it's done.

However, Channel 2 says its' going to "cool off" over the weekend - all the way down to 90.

Pricks.
