I would say concerned citizens wishing to stop a war or communists that hate bush because of the way he's handled the situation.
I don't see why you think that because some group is against the war that most people against the war must be affiliated with that group?
The Pope is against the war does that make most of the protestors catholic too?
The KKK is for the war, does that make most of you pro-war types Klan members?
Does the war in Iraq have much to do with communism?
Seems like just a bunch of grasping for excuses to discount people who don't agree with you.

So if someone agrees with Bush, they just "believe the crap Bush feeds you." No chance that they happened to examine the limited information out there and made an informed decision?

I don't have that kind of time. Suffice it to say that Gonz presented one viewpoint and I countered with another.
I think Operation "Iraqi Freedom" is a badly disguised attempt to get people to feel like we're invading this country out of the goodness of our hearts for the poor Iraqis.

Seriously though Gonz, I don't think many people are debating that Hussein is an evil guy. I'm certainly not interested in debating it. The way we are handling this is ridiculous though.
And again a quote from a couple Iraqis that are happy about us being there does not really indicate much. If you cut that crap out I won't resort to mentiioning the cheering about our downed helicopter or all the shooting at us.
you create the perfect utopia PT i know you knew that . first you only have politicians that dont lie and wont take us into war no matter the the reasons. they listen to their constituants and do everything they are told by them. because after all they are mere puppets for the masses.and we always have the most information compared to their intelegence they may be able to gather from operatives placed in the other countries.
then you have a society that nobody has to purchase goods because its in multitude here because we dont send it to poor countries anymore. Gee does this sound drug induced or what?
reality is we are all sitting at our comfy little computers trying to run the world. We make half educated guesses based on propaganda recieved from our news agiencies and that from other countries. We are spoonfeed idealist that think we can run our govt. better than the elected officials.
who are we kidding here, hell i can guarentee that only a couple of people posting have ever been to iraq and seen first hand what sadaam is really like. the rest of us are armchair quarterbacks trying to justify in our own minds what we believe to be true.
There is a saying about not judging another man till youve walked a mile in his shoes. So while this is a good ventilation for the majority of us, tell me whose your source for the real deal?
Where do you get your intel to make such brash decisions? Have you ever been to any of these countries an seen first hand the attrocities we or their own govt has commited?
