You're trying to tell us that we're supposed to accept homosexuality, then you tell us it's not normal.
When you see a (going with the stereotype here to make a point, be it known that not all gays are this way) but when you see someone like say, Chris Crocker, who most people would say is gay just by looking at him, all you think is WOW HE MUST BE GAY.
I hate Chris Crocker because he's extremely annoying and his voice grates on my nerves. He does set off my gaydar, but he IS

Your being southern has much to do with your not accepting homosexuals.
California voters a few years back passed a proposition defining marriage as strictly between a man and a woman. Do you consider Californians to be "southern"? Californians don't consider themselves to be southern and southerners certainly don't consider Californians to be southern.
I know a few gay guys that live in GA and TN and they ARE afraid for many people down there to know they're gay... not because they know its "wrong" but because you southerners are pretty popular for your little hate crimes.

Wait a second. I've lost count of how many time I've heard that gays don't CHOOSE that. So since the "gay expert" says they DO choose that, then how is it anyone else's fault if they make their choice without considering that others, be they in Tennessee or in Wyoming (another non-southern state, but home of probably the most famous crime against a gay guy), might react violently?
