And when have I not done that except when it conflicts with my own personal moral code?

It's not my job/business to tell others how to interpret their laws.
I think many people around the world would find that laughable. They might say your job as an American serviceman is to enforce rather then tell.
Now don't go freaking out on me because i agree with you more than disagree. I'm just looking at it from another perspective.

the job of an American serviceman is not to enforce laws. It is to kill the enemy and break their toys :). KILL

that's the very problem, you think that your moral is "right"

Well I agree with you there!! I will kill anyone that threatens my family and my country, period.

Of course I do! Do you think yours is wrong? Wouldn't you want to fix it then? Now tell me, why would you sign that letter. Don't you think YOURS is right then?

Yes I have :)

Thanks. Remember that. And remember this:

Why don't you go and sterilize yourself? People like you should not procreate because it breeds more high quality idiots such as yourself. In fact, get out of my fucking genepool, you are to humanity what nuclear waste is to life.

the problem is that yours is "right" making the others "wrong".

therefore you do not accept other countries' ways because they "conflicts" with your beliefs.

i rest my case.

I did not do to him what flavio did to me. I did not twist his words. I did not put meaning into his writing that I know not to be true.

You pushed his buttons on purpose to get a rise out of him no matter what way to try to rationalize it. It's not my intent to get you to apologize, really. You can't handle it when someone does it to you but you feel free to do it yourself. That's fine, but expect more of the same.

Luis, start reading. I said I accept ALL of a country's ways and cultures UNLESS it conflicts with me personally. Which means, to take an example, I have NO qualms about kissing a guy because it is the correct thing to do in that culture.

I take killing other humans for fun to be evil and wrong as an absolute truth, independent of culture or not. Therefore, if a culture does not obey that, they conflict with my beliefs and they are in error, in my opinion.

Which is what Justin did. He asked us to sign something, objecting to something that is RIGHT in another culture. That indicates that we believe we have a better judicial system or are RIGHT and they are WRONG. Therefore, there must be something more absolute than just a cultural right/wrong. Help me out, where is the reason flawed?

If you want an apology from me, take it. I admit I did type those things in frustration because I so vividly remember him critisizing me on my beliefs on absolute truths, yet he asks people to sign a document that indicates he does believe in some form of absolute truths. Yes I was frustrated, and I was a bit pissed off, and when I saw Mitch's reply it did cause me to write something which I wouldn't have written.

So if I offended anyone here, I'm really sorry but that was never my intent. Please accept my apologies, I'm man enough to admit when I made a mistake.

I apparently missed a great deal of knife fighting wen I wasn't around.
There was a topic on absolute truths. I argued for it and just about everyone here argued against it.

My work here is done. :D
If you want an apology, all you have to do is ask, because I have a habit of offending people very fast when it comes to philosophy, religion, sociology, and economics. :)
