My humane side? For shame. Just because I don't believe in pushing my idea of justice on someone else, that makes me inhumane? The woman and man both broke the law as they knew it to be written. As punishment for their mutual transgression, they were both sentenced to death by stoning. How is that stupid?

Then again...the UK just sent someone to jail for excessive self-defense. ;)

I think many people around the world would find that laughable. They might say your job as an American serviceman is to enforce rather then tell.
Now don't go freaking out on me because i agree with you more than disagree. I'm just looking at it from another perspective.

You're doing more than just that and *we* know it. You're stirring up shit from other threads and disagreements to try to make Justin look stupid meanwhile trying to look innocent by saying you're 'playing devil's advocate'.

One could say that's what was going on in the thread where flavio was questioning you on your views about sex-that he was trying to make you look stupid. You didn't react very well there, and you might want to consider how that feels before you start playing that role with someone else.
 
Green, that was not my intent. I recall a lot of vehement opposition to my views on absolute truths, and now suddenly someone who opposed me drastically is asking me to sign something that is in effect like admitting some absolute truths exist. This I don't quite understand.

Look Luis, where have I ever not accepted another culture except where it mixes with my beliefs? I kiss other guys don't I? Its a common cultural thing. If you go to such a culture will you respect it? I have no problem with adjusting to local cultures.

So then what was the purpose of the thick sarcasm of your first few posts? Why is that neccessary if you're "just trying to state your opinion"? C'mon, you enjoyed it, admit it. Even if you don't, don't be surprised if many jump at the chance to have fun with your opinions in the future.
