Oh, I remember :) , but I think unless you're in a crowded area(in which I don't recommend you carrying in a rifle) I think your chances of hiting anyeone else are still scarce. Otherwise by pointing down, you risk highly of accidentaly blowing off your or someone else's foot. Myself, I value highly my body integrity :)

difficult to be sure of it if you're walking(your feet and hands move). Unless you keep it down on a diagonal line holding it with both hands, but then again it easier to hit someone else walking close to you. hell I don't know. Thank God I don't have to do it...
