I think it would serve a useful purpose to know
who all had worked on that bridge recently.

mmm hmm...MINNEAPOLIS — Authorities investigating the collapse of the Interstate 35W bridge are looking for a person who was in a kayak below or near the bridge when it tumbled into the Mississippi River last week, Minneapolis Police Capt. Mike Martin said Wednesday.
"We need to talk to that person," Martin said.
Speaking at a press conference Wednesday, one week after the collapse of the bridge during rush hour killed at least five people and injured 100, Martin also warned area residents to stay clear of the disaster site, where perimeter security has become a top concern.
Thousands of people continue to flock to the site, and 14 people have been arrested for breaching the perimeter so far. That rate has slowed with just two arrests Tuesday, Martin said.
City core in chaos
Tunnel cracks, streets closed until engineers give ok

The metro Green Line between Berri-UQAM and Lionel-Groulx stations will be closed at least until Monday after a seven-metre-long fissure crack was discovered in the tunnel underneath de Maisonneuve Blvd. between Aylmer St. and Union Ave. yesterday afternoon.
The Montreal Transit Corp. is encouraging people to use the orange line. Shuttle buses between the shutdown stations will run on St. Catherine St. in the eastbound direction, while those heading west can take the offered service on Rene-Levesque Blvd.
The Bay, the Promenades Cathedrale and two other buildings on de Maisonneuve will also remain closed until the crack in the underground city poses no danger, Mayor Grald Tremblay said last night.
It was unclear last night how serious the damage was in the ceiling of a tunnel immediately underneath de Maisonneuve Blvd. between Aylmer St. and Union Ave. However, what was clear was that city officials did not want to risk keeping the road open.

Really? Everytime you see some tragedy you think terrorists? The fear mongering has worked wonders I guess.
