Libya was bombed because of acts of terrorism against US service members overseas. The Berlin Disco bombing was done with the approval of Libya. I can also remember when Libyan terrorists shot several people in London, and got off without one charge because they fired from the Libyan embassy. The weapons were never found, but were suspected to be in several containers shipped out a few days later under diplomatic seal. That's why the British government gave the US permission to fly from bases in the UK for that bombing. Our effort was retaliation. Perhaps Oz is too young to know about that...Anyway...after that bombing, where, incidentally the French Embassy was hit, Libya got quite quiet on the terrorism front.

So now.....gonz is claiming that every act that is carried out by a foriegn national against a sovereign country should be treat as an act of war and acts of terrorism that are retaliated against with acts of terrorism are "kosher" .........

And yes Gato......I remember quite well when policewoman Yvonne Fletcher was killed outside of the Libyan Embassy in London.....in fact, if you keep up with the news...you'll find that the UK is still trying to aprehend the culprits Mebbe we should just send a few missiles their way......just to see that they get the message? Or should we refrain from murdering civilians?

Before 1969 they weren't 'official'. Theywere, to my knowledge, around since the 1920's...go figure...

By your definition, Gonz...Isreal must be either at war with Palestine or conduction GVT ssponsored acts of 'terrorism'. They havn't declared war though...not officially. What gives?

Seems to me that there was a war against Israel in which Palestine was taken. Palestine has yet to surrender and under international rule; Israel is not required to return the land until an accord has been met.

PLO and Israel simply have no harmony.
