That was quite obviously a direct response of the right-wing pundit following sheeple to the rumors about gun control flying around just after the election which, as it happens, was not and continues not to be a priority of the current administration. Nothing more (well, that and the bigoted nut jobs). I'm sure the ammo manufacturers are thoroughly gratified though.

Edit: Tell you what, why don't you storm and Army base and let me know how it turns out. You do understand that they won't be on your side, right?

It's more like people are buying ammo and gold, ....and water containers, dry goods, etc.. Its simply a sign of the times.

I don't think anyone is going to storm a military base, but I also think your crazy if you think the US Military will participate in prolonged warfare upon their sisters and brothers, mothers, fathers and grandparents. You are aware that there are far veterans than there are active duty. -- Yeah, they will be on our side if the cause is just, and if it comes ... it will be just.

BTW, it wouldn't be very "prolonged." Your nut job insurrectionists are few and far between and not (despite what you may think) particularly well armed and they've been around longer than I have. You should try reading stuff that doesn't feed your fantasies once in a while.

So who is the domestic enemy, the one who ignores the COTUS or the ones who demand its virtues observed?

Do you think that an uprising is going to be achieved by small groups of 5-10 people hiding in the woods and attacking little forest service huts? No.

Its going to be thousands of people at a time in communities just walking in the local gov't houses and saying "this is ours now, get out." -- There will be no blood shed unless the gov't brings it.
