BTW...the poll says attempt to disarm the child without hurting him/her. That still leaves the option of deadly force open. Another thing is this...the poll doesn't mention what the circumstances the soldier went through were. It also doesn't mention the distance you are from the child, and the fact that Saddam Hussein has/had been training children as young as 8 years old to fire rifles and RPG's. My first, gut, reaction was to try and disarm, but, given the circumstances of the reason for the poll, I don't exactly know what I'd do.

well i do apologise that i didnt add in the article but gonz did(thanks again gonz). now that is what the solider did and went through. ill admit i put not enough options on the poll adn again my apologies. if that helps anyone on here great cause that again is the article i read and thought wow he went too far there but wanted to see how others would react. i hope this clears up any controversy in this thread

no but looking at what was said in the arguments i wonder if i should have added more info and more choices though i knew this would be extremly controversial.
