The poinsetta thread

Why would a map service want you to leave the country and then re-enter it to get from Edmonton to Montreal? That doesn't make sense.
 
At a quiet lake up in the Laurentian Mountains, somewhat north west of montreal.

Inky, because it's tiny computer brain doesn't calculate silly things like city traffic and 4 hour border crossings.

I'm considering next weekend...I just need to figure out if my friend whom I invited to come over for the weekend months ago is going to actually come or not. If not I'd like to come visit you :D I kinda forgot to tell you this before now :D

So I guess it doesn't work for you Prof since you never got back...which is OK...I'm kinda nackered anyway, don't know how I'd handle the drive alone after not having much sleep all week. Maybe sometime after labour day if y'all still weekend at the cottage then...

I assume you're not at work at 7:42pm on a friday and that's the only number I've got. It's too late for me to leave now anyway, and as I said I'm pretty wiped.

Lemme know how late into the year you guys go up.
 
Actually, I left work at 8:10pm. We're here until well after labour day. And with the exception of running water, we can reopen anytime. We've been here at Christmas. Check your PM for numbers (although you've already been given them, and as staff, you've got access to the buddy numbers anyhow.)

We'll set something up for September sometime hopefully. I've gotta take another day off soon to get my passport so hopefully I'll beable to come up on the weekend and have the monday off so that getting home late on Sunday won't be such an issue :)

11-12 p.m. EDT would be half an hour ago... 11-midnight would be more doable, although this week I'm working on the fall sports preview so time will be a bit shorter than normal for a week and a half or so.
