Nobody is making one person more important than another. It's the motivations of the act as a threat to society. If a terrorist kills someone in the US it is looked at as a bigger threat to society then the run of the mill murder in Detroit

The JoP should have married that couple. However, I'm unsure what his specific position is in the state, county & city he does his thing so, instead of making a big deal about it, they should have gone to guy #2. If the JoP overstepped his authority, then fire his ass.
