The war worked

Does every thread LL posts in have to turn into a "let's all jump on LL for whatever fucking reason we want to" thread?

Doesn't that get a bit old after a while?

sheesh.

good to see you people are giving flavio the same courtesy....but then again, that must be justified, since he doesn't agree with your point of view....

I didn't jump on flav. In fact, I didn't even respond to him. In fact, I have done so on very few occasions recently. In fact, until very recently, I rarely read his posts.

I put him on ignore because I found myself doing exactly what forum members are doing to some like LL and s4 - jumping on them regardless of the actual content of their posts. It wasn't so much flavio's viewpoints that I couldn't tolerate, but rather my response to them. I think there's a very convenient way to handle that... the ignore feature.

And it works. I generally read his posts now in non-RW forums, and seeing his name doesn't get the juices flowing anymore. The grudge, as it were, is fading. Before long I'll be able to have a normal conversation again with him about politics or whatever.

I wish more people would learn to control their emotions.

Flavio, I've had you on ignore since I got that PM from Leslie. Rant all you want, because it falls only on those who want to listen to your rambling.

What I would call ranting is your statement that anti-war folks are against rebuilding. Even though not one person in this thread mentioned it.

It's as if you to just make up stuff about people who disagree with you instead of actually having the cajones to read what they say.

Keep your blinders on.

LastLeg is what I thought but I never knew he was Jeslek. I thought Jeslek was a 12yr old, and was never too sure it he was a boy or a girl.. :D

Here's one way the war worked....

Vice President Dick Cheney's former company already has garnered more than $600 million in military work related to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and potentially could earn billions more without having to compete with other companies.

You're right but it's kinda fun to see them cover their ears and scream "Nyaaaa.....nyaaaa....nyaaaaa....nyaaaa!".

:D

Let's make it an even four...well, once the war was over I took him off it, but the threat remains :D

That's the wonderful about the United States - the right to completely bury your head in the sand the instant someone suggests something that goes against your spoon-fed ideas.

That means a lot coming from a person who claims that they're in France.

Let me put it this way...

1. There were some people against the war. Very vocal, and very organized.
2. Those folks wanted nothing to do with any part of the war...i e, they didn't want to do the job.
3. Now some of these same, who am I kidding, most of these same people are complaining because they want a piece of the rebuilding pie. Can you say hypocrite? I knew you could. ;)
