i don't see any reason to 'call for elections' because a mod hasn't been seen for a bit. is the forum going to the dogs or are there mass violations of the aup in there? no.

therefore, no reason to question the need to replace or add mods to the forum.

it strikes me as a shocking lack of respect that the mods that aren't here, for whatever reason, are being singled out. if you have a problem with something, town hall is the place too.
