Ah yes, I had forgotten about that strategy. I must be gettin old. That's basically what I did with my last two vehicles. Thanks for reminding me.

I added another tactic when I purchased my '86 Ranger. I made several 'final decisions' on a vehicle. By the time the sales guy had written up 5-6 sales invoices and then scrapped them cause I decided I just couldn't do it yet, he was willing to drop some of those frivilous charges just to get me outta there :D

Actaully, Unc, that's the second best time. The best is December. Those guys don't wanna pay the inventory tax on vehicles still sitting on the lot.

It will if you copy and paste it, they don't allow direct linking.

Interesting....is that a shaker hood? I've seen kits to do that and my brother is trying to get me to buy one for mine.

I'm not up on my auto lingo....shaker hood?

Funny, I didn't even notice at first, but that Mustang is the same color scheme as my old '73 Mach I Mustang.

Oh. My '73 Stang had a hood scoop on it as well but it wasn't functional. I wish I had had the money to fix that mother up.

Some of you are just being so cruel...*cough* Hex *cough*...:D

That little roadster actually looks like alot of fun. Hyundai is a bad word around me. I wouldn't own one for free after my brief experience with one...

btw...A "shaker" is a scoop that attaches to the engine as opposed to being part of the hood. As in the late 70s Trans Ams....

Yeah Squiggy..you and a LOT of other people had that experience.

was it a long time ago?

maybe...maybe not....but they did suck mightily at one time.....

Now, however....they have quite good cust. satisfaction numbers...

..anyway....to each his own..and good luck on finding the ride....

if you want a 'stang, wait till the '05 model comes out. supposed to be rated somewhere between 350 - 380 hp and it finally gets an independent rear suspension. sounds like it may be a beast.
