Thanks for clearing that one up fer me!

Alrighty then! The Mess-kins don't need Amnesty?!?
cuz they got their feet across the line they ARE Americans!

Well they'd tell ya they are Mess-kin\Americans like Afro-Americans, right? Um yeah I like it.

As for what I'd been 'fed' the number of folks on welfare as a percentage of the population (13%) has always been higher. Like all the stats illegitimate births, drop out rates, rates of incarceration as a percentage of the population, lowest SAT scores excreta. Hey buddy what-ever, you live in your world and I in mine.

Guess I'm stuck forever experiencing America as a "white guy".

Boehner's office did not immediately return a phone call for further comment.

Hard to disagree with that assessment, ain't it?

yep
It's looking worse and worse.
Our gov. will not secure us.

If the border isn't secure, and enforcement the the Law isn't upheld, this country will not stand. There will be turmoil either way.

The Pres., and some in the House and Senate have chosen their poison.
I think they underestimate the resolve of some Americans.

Dudes, did you even read the part where it says:

Rrrrrright, and I suppose your politicians are dumb enough to expect illegal immigrants to comply with that

So this plan is the same as no plan.

Yep, same old plan....Put it off.
In the meantime, the border will stay unsecured, and the situation will get even worse.

Absolutely nothing good can come from this situation, unless the law is enforced,
and that won't happen with this pres. in place.:hmm:

The border could have, and maybe still can be secured, without all the red-tape BS.
Bush has no intention of securing our nation the way it should be though.:grumpy:

The problem is far more complex than securing a border. Granted, making it harder to enter illegally improves the security of your country against other threats. But that still won't solve the problem with immigration, you already have millions of illegals living on your soil.

oh, I agree, but you gotta stop the bleeding before you can operate.

The ones already here, will mostly be like it is, until post Bush.
That's my best guess, unless something busts loose.

If they don't get the border secured soon, the sooner, and more likely that
there will be major trouble. IMO

The flow of illegals certainly hasn't been eliminated, but has been reduced drastically. Well, that's my perception, perhaps my state is not exporting many mexicans by now, or all that was left to export is already there.

Something is changing here, I don't know exactly what, or on what scale,
but it's pretty quiet. Relatively speaking.

Oh, I didn't say there is "peace and quiet", just that that aspect is/was toned down some.
