OTC BBQ 7/1-2/06

Do we have who's-doing-what-day straightened out yet? I could care less, but the missus want's to know.

Or do we want to hold off a bit yet, and see which day is better for the pool?
 
Tentatively, Saturday at my place, Sunday at Unc and Tonks's. That's somewhat flexible for weather conditions, since the pool isn't all that much fun in an electrical storm.
 
I already let Tonks and Unc know...Red and I will not be there this year. Her cousin is rotating back from Germany, and will be at home on leave in Murfreesboro that weekend, with his wife and new son. We will try again next year...:crap:

Um .... I haven't spoken about this to the missus or nuttin .... but .... if the first is at HL's, and the 2nd at uncs. The 4th at Cats ..... Are we doing the third at mine?
 
Howzabout we tote a minigrill up Stone Mountain and have a mile high BBQ? We might draw stares hauling up 10 pounds of marinating pork ribs though.
 
I'm still going, even if it ends up being just me. The ticket's already paid for and nonrefundable.

I guess this really changes the sleeping arrangements situation though, doesn't it?
 
Steve's still alone. You and he could sit around in your boxers swilling brew (yes, I know you don't drink) and watching pornos.
 
I'm back after another long time drought. I will be there somehow, it's just the details that aren't known yet, it depends on whether or not I can get a new back door this summer or not (bet that makes a lot of sense). And I might take on the public transit challenge; when I came back last year I took public from O'Hare to my home so it's not like I've never done it. It's been rough all around lately, nearly a thousand bucks at the optometrist between my grandma and me, my brother sliced his finger open and needed the paramedics 2 days ago, and I've worked my ass off cleaning in the house this week, finally got the computer setup I want and set up the sound system we won in January (wow, only 5 months, that's fast in this house).
 
Shoot, I can handle housing for both Inky and SL.

If the family is indeed gone (90% chance), I could house Prof's entire family.
 
Came damn close to that this morning. I was unzipping one of the bunks on the trailer, and the zipper disintegrated into a handful of teeth. While I was busting a nut trying to figure out how to sew a new 3' zipper into already fragile canvas (and where the hell do you even get a 3' zipper? I was thinking about sacraficing a sleeping bag) Mum comes to the rescue with that miracle of modern science : Velcro.
