Not missing the point, just asking the question.

Do the prospective foster parents have to sign something at the end saying "homos are awesome, I'm going to turn homo, the next president should be a homo"?
 
We all gotta do stuff we don't like. If someone wanted to be a foster parent that bad, they could sit through something like this. Ever take a class in college you thought was bullshit, but sat through it anyway to reach a goal?

Two rednecks decided that they weren't going anywhere in life and thought they should go to college to get ahead. The first went in to see the counselor, who told him to take math, history, and logic.

"What's logic?" the first redneck asked.

The professor answered, "Let me give you an example. Do you own a weed eater?"

"I sure do."

"Then I can assume, using logic, that you have a yard," replied the professor.

"That's real good!" said the redneck.

The professor continued, "Logic will also tell me that since you have a yard, you also own a house."

Impressed, the redneck said, "Amazing!"

"And since you own a house, logic dictates that you have a wife."

"That's Betty Mae! This is incredible!" The redneck was catching on.

"Finally, since you have a wife, logically I can assume that you are heterosexual," said the professor.

"You're absolutely right! Why that's the most fascinatin' thing I ever heard! I cain't wait to take that logic class!"

The redneck, proud of the new world opening up to him, walked back into the hallway where his friend was still waiting.

"So what classes are ya takin' ?" asked the friend.

"Math, history, and logic!" replied the first redneck.

"What in tarnation is logic?" asked his friend.

Again, totally separate from the point I'm making. Why only homosexuality sensativity training? Why aren't gay couples trying to adopt forced to sit through heterodsexuality training courses? Once again, for the sight-disadvantaged:

Even if that were not the case, the solution to feeling like your "lifestyle is disrespected" is suddenly to disrespect someone else's?

Because that'd be about the same as giving courses to white people on how to be white.

Its not just homosexual sensitivity training...that's just what's being focused upon...the cause celebre. There are tests/classes re: racism, sexism, and pretty much any other ism you can think of. Why? Because if you're going to give a child to a foster family you don't want that child turning into a racist, sexist homophobe.

Another reason is...you have to give the foster parents all the tools that they can get. This is just another tool.

Huh? I'm asking why not FORCE prospective gay aspirants (ya know those ones we're all so eager to enlist), to take a heterosexual tollerance indoctrination session. Once again, it's an apples to apples question as far as I can see, so why the double standard?

You'll have to do better than some misguided appetite for retribution.

Because, from the day someone is born...they are assumed to be straight. They are indoctrinated into the heterosexual ideology from day one. The straight lifestyle is the norm...a gay couple or individual already knows straight couples or individuals and deals with them daily. The same cannot be said for the reverse.

I'm sure that gay couples get courses on how to raise a straight kid....because it's the same course as how to raise a kid, period.
