I wax the Explorer (four door, 4X4 no less...) by hand several times a summer. Requires a step ladder, but it's doable.
When I get serious on a vehicle, I do it all. Wash, wax, vacuum, ArmorAll the interior, Son Of A Gun on the tires (saturated, never wiped), rims polished, glass inside and out. Takes all day, but man is it worth it.

We went to the ballgame yesterday. Braves won 8-4, so it was a good time. On Sundays, they let kids run the bases after the game. I'm waiting to get it from my mother-in-law, since it was her camera, but I think I got a decent shot of V2.0 rounding 3rd and hitting home plate at Turner field.
I'm jealous.
