Not in the slightest. I brought it up early so that it could be thrashed out. Actually, when I mentionned to the missus that I'd put us forth for hosting 2007, she looked at me in shock "But we were going to SnP's in 2007 ..."

Of course she'd overlooked the 4 weeks of vacation time I've got now. Jsut have to lean on the boss a bit to put the time together. If you're really wanting the summer, I can always host the winter one. But, you'd have to attend mine.

There's a winter one now???

If we can pull it off. If SnP wants summer 2007, I'm willing to work for winter 2006

Ugh, driving long distances in the winter is SO unfun. I would definately need someone else in the car with me to make the trek midwinter...*remembers the white out conditions driving through Montreal in winter 2000*

Will you stop moaning. Noone's forcing anyone to come. And if necessary, I'll arrange for escorts at the borders so that noone has to deal with the terrifying Quebec roads unassisted.

But you know I will :p I don't wanna miss out on any more fun than I have to. If worse comes to worse I'll bus it into Montreal and hitch a ride to the cottage with you :p

Lord knows I've got plenty of room for a winter one as well. Between an extra queen size bed, and two double beds, I can spare some room for people.

You know, you, Les and Paul could rent a car and split it three ways.

The issue with the winter one won't be having wheels (I certainly hope I'm employed and have a car by then...)...it's that although I'd feel safer driving on an empty road when it's snowing than when it's raining...I don't trust other people in snow and I don't wanna end up driving in whiteout conditions. I have two more interviews coming up (one scheduled and one that should be scheduled next week when the guy doing the interviewing gets back from holidays)....that makes three so hopefully ONE of those will result in something and the car thing won't be the issue.

The bus thing was a solution to avoid winter driving...it isn't an option if I'm jobless and thus carless cause I won't have the cash anyway.

Tonks, you can stay at the cottage keeping the fire going, and brewing hot toddies for us all. I'll see if the neighbour will loan me his bearskin.

I don't believe we'd require lodging if you still want to do it saturday. We just don't wanna fish all day and not eat :D
Whatever works out best for you guys. We just don't have chillin this weekend so our comings and goings are much freer.

Sorry...had to leave, and just now got back to a puter...

If y'all really wanna come up this weekend, lemme run it past the boss and let's see what we can do. I'm all for it m'self, but she is the Keeper of the Schedule in these parts, and she is also away from her desk at the moment. Should be back before too long though.

Let's aim to plan for another weekend some time soon. I've got that playroom to finish and all that.
