It wouldn't have mattered. By the third try, the disease factor would have began the decimating and softened them up nicely for the 4th wave.

You mean "average Amerikan."

See what I mean, it's already not the America I grew up in.

Tell me Winky, when they run out of muslims and decide to go after atheists, where does that leave you?

I've often wondered, where did the "native" Americans (or the Australian aborigines, for that matter) come from? Did they just pop up in place or did they immigrate also? If so, whom did they misplace?

Therein lies the crux. I would be willing to bet that our founding fathers, Abe Lincoln & Jefferson Davis, all the way thru Teddy Roosevet (and perhaps Harry Truman) would have had no qualms about declaring war against our enemy, even (or especially if) it wasn't PC.

Must a nation founded on the principle of freedom be on the verge of losing it before they are willing to protect it?

Actually, that's fairly well understood.

"we're just products of evolution".

Yeah, we are and some are more evoluted than others.

??? The migration of "native americans" doesn't have to do with evolution.

Let me try again.
1. The migration of homo sapiens into the western hemisphere (per Gonz's question) is fairly well understood (there are any number of books on the subject). He's partly right, they did immigrate. There were no previous homo sapiens to replace, so they didn't elbow anyone out (well, other animals, but that's a PETA issue ;) ).

2. Said migration occurred after (quite a while after as it turns out) the evolution of homo sapiens, therefore evolution did not play a part.

3. Everything on the planet (with the possible exception of Ford Prefect) is in fact equally evolved.

Sorry, but from where I'm sitting you're being even more cryptic than usual.

Yeah the folks that wandered over the ice bridge
are not the White folks that built ships and came across the Atlantic Duh

I haven't any clue what a reference to Ford Perfect is?

The founder of the Ford motor company was a white supremest?

There was a program that I saw that was fricken great.
It tracked the 'evolution' of people out of Africa into Asia
and into Europe. Human migration if you will.
It showed that the white folks basically went up into Europe
got snowed in for a long time and 'evolved' separately from the others.

This was all done with DNA tracing from the earliest folks (blacks) in Africa
up to the newest folks in Yer-rope.

Yeah science on this issue is too controversial to be noticed.

Even the people on the show had to discount the obvious.

But in a sense, they are. When you get right down to it, we all emigrated out of Africa.

Now see, as I understand "evolution," that isn't it. That's divergence. Evolution involves species, divergence involves differences within a species. As I understand it it all involves mating and viable offspring. Since we're all homo-sapiens, we haven't "evolved." Obviously whoever made your program understood it differently. I could argue it either way. Science at it's best is a messy proposition, isn't it?

Interesting question though; is the newest the most evolved or the least evovled? I can see both sides of that one too. My sense is that every living thing on the planet starts from the primordial ooze at around the same time (geologically speaking) so we've all evolved about the same amount. Some of it is just more obvious, that's all.

Plus of course the show you watched was probably made by white european descended filmmakers. What a wonder that they find white europeans "more evolved"... ;)

Oh, Ford Prefect is the Betesguesian in "Hitchhikers Guide." Presumably they've been a species longer than we have, ergo more evolved. :nerd:

Yeah we share a common ancestor
that's about it. I'd say most of us
are quite 'divergent' from these animals.
