Do ya really wanna know why there will NEVER be a move to DO
anything substantial about the Saudi's as long as the House of Saud still stands???
(first clue is at the gas pump)
So it's ok to raise up terrorists as long as they keep resources flowing to you?

Police raided the houses of three unidentified suspects yesterday in West Yorkshire, northern England, and said they had found documents bearing three of four suspects' names scattered near three explosions. Clarke said ``strong forensic'' evidence suggested one West Yorkshire man died in the Aldgate station subway blast.
Three of the bombers may have been British males of Pakistani origin, the Guardian reported.

Detectives hunting those responsible for the London bombings located a car containing explosives at the Luton railway station north of the U.K. capital yesterday, the Press Association reported, citing Bedfordshire police.

Three controlled explosions were carried out on the vehicle at Luton and bomb squad officers removed explosives from it, according to the report by the U.K. and Ireland's national news agency.
Inspector Miles Himsworth of West Yorkshire police said in a briefing aired live by the British Broadcasting Corp. Between 500 and 600 people were evacuated from nearby homes and a mosque, he said. The house was being searched for explosives, police said.
More---of course

Do you's guys not really grasp the true nature of the situation or are you merely pushing your own respective political agendas?

The Saudi royal cabal is pro-western (as much as they can be.)
We need the oil produced by the worlds second largest reserve.
The people in Saudi are a bunch of primitive rag-heads like most A-rabs.
The royal family has too, to a certain extent, pay lip service to moosiy stuff and their anti-western crap or risk losing control over the country.
The average Saudi is far better of under the current situation than if an Iranian style theocracy took over.
The U.S. is all good with the Status Quo cuz either of the alternatives is certainly quite dis-tasteful
A. The Royal family loses control to an insurgency which plunges the country into an Iranian style mess or
B. We gotta put boots on the ground and end up with another Iraq kinda mess.

Yep the way things are there is the best situation we can hope for.

Besides the Saudi family IS krackin' down on the bad guys
not to help the U.S. but to save their own asses.
They can do nasty things to their people to keep them in line that we'd never be able to get away with.
So it is ALL good in the neighborhood!

Chemist Sought in London Probe Arrested

By MATT MOORE, Associated Press Writer 14 minutes ago

Police in Egypt on Friday arrested an Egyptian biochemist sought in the investigation of the London bombings. Meanwhile, authorities investigated a possible link between al-Qaida and the suicide team that carried out attacks.

Magdy el-Nashar, 33, was taken into custody upon his arrival in Cairo from abroad, an Egyptian official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because an official announcement of the information had not yet been made. El-Nashar, who studied at North Carolina State University and taught at Leeds University in Britain, was being interrogated by Egyptian authorities, the official said.

The official could not specify the date of the arrest or where el-Nashar was arriving from, but said it could be as long as a week ago.

Metropolitan Police in London said a man has been arrested in Cairo, but they would not confirm his name or characterize him as a suspect.

Sorry.. Tis a schizm of the language the writers chose for the title.

'Chemist Sought' usually means seeking chemist... not caught.

4 British Muslim lads. Hmmm, doesn't that put a damper on the whole "they're tired of being pissed on for their oil" argument? These fools were middle class snots in a socialist country. What could they possibly have to piss & moan about?

You just can't please some people. Although if you have ever experienced the British public transport system you would want to blow it up to.( I can say that I'm british) :winkkiss:

Hey Gonz, the people who generally want to advance the same agenda as you are in charge and yet you piss and moan all the time. ;) Seriously though, do you suppose the intent might be to widen the gap between the (largely) judeo-christian west and the muslim run countries?

The wider that gap gets, the easier & sooner we can win this thing & come home.

To his credit, the complainant, Mr. MacRae, tendered a written apology which was published in The Republic on 9 July:
Regarding "Flyby honoring fallen comrade" (Letters, June 28):

I read with increasing embarrassment and humility the response to my unfortunate letter to The Republic concerning an Air Force flyby ("A wake-up call from Luke's jets," Letters, June 23).

I had no idea of the significance of the flyby, and would never have insulted such a fine and respectful display had I known.

I have received many calls from the fine airmen who are serving or have served at Luke, and I have attempted to explain my side and apologized for any discomfort my letter has caused.

This was simply an uninformed citizen complaining about noise.

I have been made aware in both written and verbal communications of the four-ship flyby, and my heart goes out to each and every lost serviceman and woman in this war in which we are engaged.

I have been called un-American by an unknown caller and I feel that I must address that. I served in the U.S. Navy and am a Vietnam veteran. I love my country and respect the jobs that the service organizations are doing.

Please accept my heartfelt apologies.

Tom MacRae, Peoria
